Wow!!! Just when you open your heart and take a chance, things come tumbling down. Imani was a good girl that always got caught up with the wrong dude. Drew simple ass didn't deserve Imani at all. He was mad for all the wrong reasons. Jeremy was so trifling and I was mad he led Imani on. Shadore was another story! That heifer was constantly nagging so she wouldn't look suspicious. She was comfortable around Greg but stayed on some bs when it came to her man. Apparently she didn't think about what all her actions would lead to. I must say I like Ken. He seemed like a good friend and was always willing to listen. Ugh Jeremy. How do you lie about having an account just to keep your other life a secret?! He gave his wife the benefit of the doubt but said everything he possibly could to hurt Imani. Ole trifling ass! Yes Imani! Girl wipe those tears and show Jeremy you're not to be played with. THIS BOOK WAS GOID,DRAMA SHADE ALL THAT .LALA MONROE WASN'T PLAYING GAMES WITH THIS STORY I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO READING PART TWO I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HOW THIS TURNS OUT. La Congratulations on this and any more hot reads.
I figured Imani would of figured out Jeremy was living a double life. But i guess he had her blinded by love!!.
I cant wait for part 2 since the end left me like "what happened next".

LALA MONROE DID HER THING. HOW DO I TELL HER was SOOOOOO GOOD, from BEGINNING to END. It FLOWED EFFORTLESSLY, and BEFORE I KNEW it, I was FINISHED. DRAMA, LIES, SECRETS, and MORE, KEPT ME INTRIGUED. I was THOROUGHLY ENTERTAINED by THIS MUST READ, and HOPE pt.2 is in the MAKING......
I love the storyline. It puts a very real spin on relationships and betrayal. I was hoping Jeremy wouldn't hurt this young lady, but he did it, and the twist to this story is his wife was cheating on him to.
Explosive, this book is a great piece of work. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to reading the next story to see the outcome.
Lala did that. Drew thought things would work between him and his "friend" but oh how wrong he may have been. Imani didn't deserve the lies he was telling. Jeremy seemed like a good guy until his truths hit him. He was wrong for his actions. Can't say Shadore didn't deserve whatever because she had her flaws. The only person anyone would feel bad for was Imani. She doesn't deserve a lot of what she dealt with. Can't wait until part two.
I absolutely loved this book. .. Imani is such a good person and always seems to fall for the wrong man... First she has Drew... He did her wrong, then when things didn't work out for him he wants to come back to what he had.. Then there is Jeremy. .. He seems like such a good man but he has a big secret... He treats Imani so good until all his secrets start to come out... then he starts treating Imani like some kind of hoe...I know that she has Ken and he seems like a good guys and like he would treat Imani the way she deserves... But because she is so loyal she does not give him a chance... He respected her enough not to cross the line with her... He just kinda lingered in the back...Now that Imani has done a surprise visit on Jeremy and let the cat out of the bag.... what will happen next? This was a good book from beginning to end... I really can't wait for part 2... All the cats r coming out the bag... Great job Lala Monroe...
