I'm amazed that I'm the first to write a review of "Habit", by William James. Many of the James editions are actually so inexpensive, I consider them "Thank You's' from Kindle for just being a subscriber. I write this review for having learned so much about mental habits, how they influence our lives for better or worse, how they originate and how to go about altering bad habits, and how to develop better ones. O.k., so the title tells you this already, but you can have the audio on Kindle recite it to you as you walk your dog. Don't yet have a dog? You can still always get one! You can call him 'William' or ' James' and walk him as you listen to this fine book.Product details

Habit William James 9781293782002 Books Reviews
Psychological study of fashioning habits by one of the founders of modern psychology. An author always original and quotable. Quick read.
a reprint of an article one can get from 'most any common metadatabase -- darn it! I feel gypped, but am grateful to my bookstore for allowing me to return it.
It doesn't take a lot of words when it is perfect. No explanations necessary. It doesn't take a lot of words when it is perfect. No explanations necessary.
I purchased this book in kindle format for a school assignment. However, it is almost unreadable. Many of the paragraphs are abruptly halted prior to the end of a sentence, an additional paragraph is started (this second paragraph is inconsistently concluded), and the following paragraph concludes the sentence and concept(s) addressed in the originating paragraph. I want to read this book, I do not want to piece together broken paragraphs.
This edition was not worth the $.99 I paid for it. If I were within the limits of the 7 day return period, I would return it for a refund.
William James in any form is always worth the investment!
Quick read on habits and habit building. Whether conscious or not, we are building habits every day.
This book is a great guide in reminding you of the importance of playing an active role in the habits you build and how hard habits are the create.
This book is not readable!!!!!!! only few pages! I have no idea how to return it. I regret that I have not read the earlier comments before placing this order.
